On the afternoon of November 11, CMEC Group Party Secretary and Chairman Wang Bo met with the delegation headed by Zheng Chao, Executive Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (hereinafter referred to as “CCCME”) at China IPPR International Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “IPPR”), a subsidiary of CAMCE under CMEC Group. The two sides communicated with each other on further strengthening pragmatic cooperation in engineering design, consultation services, green construction, and trading, etc., jointly promoting economic and trade exchanges with foreign countries, and boosting high-quality development of “Belt & Road” countries. CMEC Group Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager Xie Ke and IPPR Party Secretary and Chairman Ding Jian attended the meeting.
Wang Bo expressed his warm welcome to the delegation and thanked CCCME for its long-term support for and assistance to CMEC Group and its member companies. At the meeting, he introduced first of all the overall situation and business development of CMEC Group, and highlighted the Group’s development strategy and direction during the 14th “Five-year Planning” period, which is driven by the first-class consulting design capability, supported by scientific & technological innovation and based on key industries. Wang Bo said that, in the face of the complicated market, he hope that CMEC Group further enhances its cooperation with CCCME and its members, focuses on key countries and projects, gives full play to its own advantages in the aspects of engineering contracting, design and consultation, and promotes industrial development.
Zheng Chao gave a detailed introduction to the building of the CCCME service platform for international industrial cooperation, thanked CMEC Group for its support for CCCME in recent years, and hoped that CMEC Group gives full play to its advantages, effectively integrates resources, continuously develops its capacity for international operation, industrial system, and whole industry chain, and makes greater contributions to developing new advantages of international competitions of the entire industrial chain and value chain in the new circumstances. By relying on its resource channels including the expert committee, CCCME will continue to deepen its liaison and communications with CMEC Group and its members and provide the business development of CMEC Group with greater supports and better services.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited the exhibition hall of IPPR, and Ding Jian gave a detailed introduction to the history, typical projects and key business operations of the company.
Present at the meeting were CCCME deputy secretary general and exhibition department director Yang Tong, Strategy and Engineering Department (International Industrial Cooperation Service Center) Chief Dong Ming, Director Jin Luolan, Deputy Director Li Yawei, as well as relevant leaders of CMEC Group Strategic Development and Coordinated Management Department, CAMCE Investment and Business Management Department, and General Manager Department of IPPR.
