Serbian Mining and Energy Minister attends the launch ceremony of the new wharf of KOSTOLAC-B power plant (phase 1)

Recently, Serbian Mining and Energy Minister Dubravka ?edovi? and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo attended the launch ceremony of the new wharf of the KOSTOLAC-B power plant (phase 1) undertaken by CMEC Group Headquarters (CMEC).

After receiving the boiler main piping equipment from China, Dubravka ?edovi? delivered a speech at the launch ceremony. She said that the completion of the project of KOSTOLAC-B power plants (phase 1 and phase 2) is of great significance to the stability and safety of the Serbian power and energy system and inject new energy into the development of the country, and the Serbian government will make coordinated efforts to help complete the project.

After that, Dubravka ?edovi? and Chen Bo inspected the site of the KOSTOLAC-B power plant (phase 2), visited the steam engine room and the chemical water plant and listened to the report on the project.

Equatorial Guinea Malabo gas turbine power plant extension project connected to grid

Recently, the CMEC-undertaken Malabo gas turbine power plant extension project has been connected to grid, providing the plant with an additional generator unit with an installed capacity of 42MW. CMEC undertook surveying, design, manufacturing, supply of materials, transportation, storage, construction, adjustment and commissioning of the project. The grid-connection of the new unit will provide the urban power grid of Malabo with safer, steady and reliable power supply and higher energy security for Equatorial Guinea to achieve its goal of diversified economic reforms.
